I didn’t grow up in suburbia. I was a bush kid. Calloused feet, stomping for snakes, river dips & skinned knees. A world of imagination I still haven’t left behind. A hobbyist conservationist, my father was the provider and protector of our bushland. He taught me that our native life was sacred, essential to the balance. He feels the magic of the bush, too.
