This painting is very personal to me.

I have a theory that autistic people have very special connections with animals. Unlike typical humans, our actions are not constructed to hide our intentions through layers of expectation and social nuance. Our actions are often clear indicators of our intentions. I think that animals greatly prefer this.

This painting is about the bond between an autistic man and his dog. It is a celebration of unity in the face of adversity.
