We all have an inner child, and this is mine; concealed behind thick layers of memories, imaginings & dreams. She knows of her vulnerability, and she protects it. She’s been hurt pretty badly before by well meaning people.
Despite the hurt and the pain, she persists. She protects her light, for she knows what it is worth.
She is the only constant. Everything swirls and changes around her, but she does not.
